Serena Williams wins her first title since her return from maternity leave beating Jessica Pegula 6-3 6-4 to win the #ASBClassic

Serena Williams stunned her opponent to win her first title since her return from maternity leave.

She beat Jessica Pegula 6-3 6-4 to win the #ASBClassic in New Zealand.

 It's Serena's first non Grand Slam title since Rome 2016 and the Austrailian Open in 2017.

She had support from her team and her family.

Husband Alexis and daughter Olympia were in the stands

Serena Williams returns to Title Town.

Serena wins her 1st title since 2017, defeating Jessica Pegula 63 64 to win @asbclassic.

Serena won her 1st WTA title in February 1999.

She’s won her 73rd WTA title in January 2020.
