Changing it up: Queen B showed off a couple more outfits when she accepted awards during the night not including her performance looksChanging it up: Queen B showed off a couple more outfits when she accepted awards during the night not including her performance looks

Ready to rock: Rihanna may have shunned the red carpet, but made sure to make-up for it with her racy on-stage ensembles

Dancing queen: The 28-year-old singer slipped into waist high leather boots, a leotard and fur for a section of her performance

Saucy on the street: She also donned a flesh-flashing street-wear inspired ensemble

Belting our the hits: She also went all out with a billowing ballgown-com-jumpsuit

Raunchy and very Racy: The Anaconda hit-maker and the Dangerous Woman singer's performance included some very risque moments, including the moment two dancers simulated a sexual act with the pop stars

Get over her: The two pop stars were both kitted out in provocative ensembles, though Nicki's certainly drew the eye

In unison: The Private Show hitmaker sported her signature flaxen hair extensions as she mimed the lyrics of her slow-paced track

Changing it up: The star traded in her elegant ensemble later on in the evening as she took to the stage - opting instead for a racy lace leotard, fishnet stockings and patent leather knee-high boots

On fire: Beyone also did away with her beaming smile, instead choosing to project a fierce disposition as she belted through a spine-tingling performance

And... pose: The Sorry hit-maker preened and posed as she belted out some of her most recent hits

Carefully coordinated: Every part of the performance was a master-class in stage-craft, with both the singer and her backing-dancers never missing a step

And Then Drake made things Special for Riri as he stepped out to present her Vaguard Award..

He began by telling the crowd they'd met 11 years ago and admitted he's been in love with her ever since. He said He recalled the first moment he met the Barbadian singer in 2005, while working as an extra on her "Pon de Replay" music video.

"We love the music, which can change styles from album to album, "We love the videos which change their artistic vision from year to year. But most of all, we love the woman who hasn't changed from day one."She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22-years-old. She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me,"
"She's a living, breathing legend in our industry. Ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the 2016 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Rihanna!" Drake Said..

Sealed with a kiss: Drake presented Rihanna with the Vanguard Award later in the evening, and declared he's 'been in love' with her since he was 22

All smiles: The two pop stars were all smiles as the kissed and cosied up to each other on-stage as she collected the coveted gong
