We've all heard about the brouhaha that Laide bakare's hubby is in with the EFCC and MTN over allegations of fraud and the likes, with reports from  multiple quarters indicating that Laide's hubby has had his assets seized including a shop he had reportedly given to the actress

Well Laide isnt fazed and she is soldering on enjoying her life..

Legendary Film Maker Amaka Igwe is dead!

Nollywood has just lost another strong pillar and creative Genius. Amaka Igwe was one of the first female producer/directors who stood and did their thing in male dominated terrain.

Her works stood her out as they were excellent and with a lot of creative finesse .Some of her works include popular soaps Fuji House of Commotion,the prestigious checkmate as well as popular movie Violated amongst many others

Amaka reportedly went on a trip to Enugu to Enugu with her husband for a pre-production preparation for a new Igbo soap when she suffered an asthma attack,was rushed to the hospital but couldn't make it there.

Amaka founded the BoB TV Expo, and was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Top Radio 90.9 FM, Amaka Igwe Studios, and the newly-launched Q Entertainment Networks.

Amaka is survived by her husband of 21 years, Charles Igwe, three children, and an aged mother

 So Sad!May She rest in peace!

Angela Okorie on theft allegation in South Africa - I was framed!

The Actress has been knee deep in alot of controversy lately.

She was reportedly arrested in South-Africa over a $3,200 theft when she headed out there with cast and crew to shoot Nollywood movie "Nwa Abakaliki"

Even though she was released by the authorities after a day,she also wants people to know her own side of the happenings

"I left Nigeria for South Africa to shoot my movie, Nwa Abakaliki in South Africa on Monday April 7 2014 with Prince Ekeh, Muma Gee's husband. I paid for his flight and accommodation from Port Harcourt to Lagos and from Lagos to South Africa. Then at a point, I decided to move to a hotel so as to give him space and a friend of mine called M.K said I should come over to her place at North Gate Estate where I can pay less for my accommodation because she has a 3 bedroom flat. So I moved in and met a friend of mine called Prosper who is actually one of my biggest fans in her place. But he was also living in a separate room with the lady.

Don’t Use Chloroquine, Artesunate For Malaria Treatment– WHO Warns Nigerians!

The World Health Organisation had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005. Nigerians have been advised against the use of Chloroquine and Artesunate for the treatment of malaria.

Nnenna Ezeigwe, National Coordinator, National Malaria Control Programme, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.
She, however, recommended that people should take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy, ACTs, when they test positive for malaria.

Vice President Namadi Sambo loses brother in Ghastly Accident

Nigeria's Vice President Namadi Sambo today lost his immediate younger brother Capt Sambo in a ghastly car accident along the Abuja Airport Road 

He was reportedly on his way to the airport to catch a flight when he crashed into a tree and his car went up in flames.

So I have just came off watching the show. I applaud STV for showing it live but it was one of the most boring things I have ever watched! The hosts need to refund the fees they were paid.. and then the winner emerged yes deserving winner but I was hoping the platform would have been given to someone who hasnt been on TV before and who really needed the break  but Typical this contest is only ever won by models or people who's done some commercial media work.
