Has Domestic Violence just scored first prominent Victory?? Wife Killer Arowolo Akolade sentenced to death By Hanging.

Akolade Arowolo was arrested sometime in 2011 for reportedly hacking his wife to death in their home resulting from issues ranging from domestic violence.

Akolade was today found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging by  a lagos court .Akolade's Banker wife Titilayo was said to have been stabbed 76 times a fact which Akolade and his legal team were said to have been denying.

The Couple had a daughter from the relationship.

So do you think this is a victory for Domestic Violence sufferers as well as those bodies and agencies who take up the fight for the helpless victims?

Would this make men/women sheath their swords,hold back that fist or choose to settle domestic issues amicably? 

What now happens to the little girl who would soon become an orphan?
