His latest project is to play the lead role for adaptation of African Novel "Beasts of no Nation"

Beasts of no Nation was written by Nigerian Author Uzodinma Iweala who is also the son of  Nigeria's former Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo Iweala.

Idris is set to take on the lead role in this movie to be directed by Cary Fukunaga

The novel, which chronicles the travels of a young boy who is forced to join a group of soldiers in an unidentified west African country, is being converted to film by red crown productions.

Elba who will also be on producing duties is to star as the commander of the troops for which the boy fights.

I am so excited for this,Idris is my very "Favourite" actor if there is any word like that and I hope he gets called for Bond next! I think its time for a black Bond really..
